It is Up to Us to Defend America

I’ve been thinking about the real problem that our country faces. We talk a lot about the economy, inflation, the crisis at the southern border, our failing public schools, and more. But these are mere symptoms of the real issue. The real issue is that the elites have turned against their own country and are actively working to bring it down.

Many people in the so-called “intelligentsia” in education, media, and public policy despise the country they live in. They loath our history, culture, and traditions. They are infuriated by the limits placed on their power by the Bill of Rights and the Supreme Court. And they disdain average, hard-working citizens in “flyover country”. These are the people who shape culture, opinions, and young minds. They have a profound influence on the direction of our society. And they have set our society on a disastrous course.

Most of our corporate leaders also don’t feel any affinity with America anymore. Many of them run businesses that have operations that span the globe. As a result, a lot of them view themselves as global citizens. They think that America is no better and in some ways worse than other developed countries.

The contempt that elites feel towards America and Americans manifests itself through their words and deeds. They shipped millions of American manufacturing jobs to China, Mexico, and other countries. They moved countless American technology jobs to India and Eastern Europe. They spent trillions of dollars on wars in faraway countries but won’t lift a finger to defend America’s southern border. Their response to one of the worst toxic chemical spills in American history was indifference.

We now also know that the elites did everything possible to oust President Trump from office. They tried to paint him as a Russian asset with a fake dossier. They covered up U.S. government funding of dangerous biological research in China, which resulted in the release of a deadly mutated virus. Then they tried to blame him for the deaths of one million Americans. They illegally ignored election laws in ways that made it easier for them to cheat. In 2020, five swing states flipped to Joe Biden, even though President Trump won 12 million more votes than he did in 2016. And as we learned last night, they lied about a so-called “insurrection” to try to prevent President Trump from running for office in the future. Why do the elites hate President Trump so much? Because he wanted to put the interests of average Americans ahead of those of the elites. And that is the one thing that is completely unacceptable to them.

I can’t think of another example in history where the ruling class tried to tear their own country down. Revolutionaries are usually found outside of the ruling class. But in 21st-century America, the ruling class is comprised of the revolutionaries. That doesn’t bode well for our future.

It is up to us to defend America because no one else will. We must defeat the elites before they defeat us. I understand that everyone is busy with their careers and families, so it’s not easy. I am busy too. But the future of our careers, families, and liberty are being threatened like never before. So, we need to find the time. We all need to pay attention. We all need to get actively involved. Attend your precinct meetings. Volunteer to work on campaigns. Talk to your friends and family. Get involved with patriotic organizations like Liberty First Grassroots. Make the sacrifice and run for office. And above all, get out and vote.
